What’s Coming Next
As the site continues to grow, so does our development roadmap. We are actively building new features designed to add real value for collectors and to push Epic Collector further into best-in-class territory.
Marketplace (In Development)
One of the biggest features currently in progress is the Epic Collector Marketplace.
This feature will allow members to post items directly from their collections and make them visible to other collectors. Browsing and discovery tools will help interested buyers find items, reach out to sellers, and make offers directly. The goal is to keep everything collector-focused, streamlined, and community-driven.
Development is well underway, and we are targeting a beta release toward the end of Q1. As always, community feedback will play a major role in shaping how this feature evolves.
Barcode and Image Recognition
We are also actively coding barcode scanning and image recognition tied directly to items in the Epic Collector database.
If successful, this feature will allow collectors to add items faster than ever by scanning a barcode or using an image to match against known products. This is a major technical undertaking, but it has the potential to be a game-changer and to place Epic Collector in direct competition with established tracking platforms like CLZ.
We will share more details as development progresses and as we move closer to a beta release.
